About the Charity
The LAM Foundation is a non-profit, voluntary health agency that provides support and education for those with Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). Their engagement with doctors and scientists brings forth the statistical information of this rare disease as it becomes known, offering them the knowledge needed to better serve patients and their caregivers. Most importantly, they are able to commit to urgently finding safe and effective treatments, namely a cure, for LAM as a result of ongoing research.
The LAM Foundation’s mission is to promote advocacy and raise funds in order to offer a worldwide network of hope to the scientific, medical, and patient communities.
Why this Charity?
When I was diagnosed with LAM in 2019, I didn’t know what to do or what to expect. The LAM Foundation provided me with resources to better understand my illness and a network of fellow “Lammies” that I could connect with and add to my growing support system. They ensured that I was never alone and gave me the confidence to start a new and unique fundraiser for them.
How to Donate:
If you are interested in making a donation, there are few ways you can:
- To donate during the stream, go to my Fundraiser Page. We announce donations live as we receive them.
- To donate directly to The LAM Foundation, go to their website and hit the “Donate” button.
- You can also donate to my Twitch channel and I will transfer your contribution on your behalf.
