Anticipations for 2026

I know it’s been a while since I did a post. I honestly had no energy and desire to write. But as this year starts coming to a close, I want to put this year behind me and hope for a better new year.

This year was full of ups an downs, including three hospital visits and one of my best charity streams. I also have been experiencing the longest migraine I’ve ever had [with no history of migraines] due to higher levels of stress and a personal event that struck me hard. All of this, plus no positive change to my chronic pain despite being weened off my opioid, it’s no wonder that I am hoping 2026 has more to offer.

While I have no idea what the new year will bring, there are a few things I have planned:

Among the positives of this year are the various vacation trips I took. While travel is painful and challenging for me, I have found ways to make it work. Since my health can either improve or worsen at any given moment, I am doing whatever possible to travel while I can. One planned trip is Sedona, Arizona. It is one of my favorite places and I haven’t been in a long time. I definitely am excited to embrace the positive, healing atmosphere Sedona offers and it will be a much needed escape from the stress I have been juggling. Sometimes just getting away from repetitive normality can do wonders for your physical and mental health.

Many years ago when I created my Twitch account, I didn’t do so with the intention of streaming. It was simply to support my friends and other content creators. Thus, my Twitch username was reflective of that. It was something cute, silly, and fitting to my age at the time. And while it has worked for me since I started streaming, I feel it is time to transition to a name and brand more fitting to my goals and mission. I have been tossing around ideas with my team and discussing when and how to launch a rebrand for months. So, I am hoping to launch a renewed channel sometime in 2026. There is no definitive deadline as I want to ensure it’s done properly and doesn’t cause any major confusion to my followers. But it is something exciting to look forward to, especially as it means I will also have the appropriate social media platforms to assist it. So, stay tuned!

Lessening My Stress

It’s amazing what stress can do the body, even when you think you aren’t stressed. Given my health, it’s no surprise that stress will take a stronger toll on me. And there are multiple reasons my stress levels peaked this year. I have been dealing with increased heart rate, I gained weight and have been struggling with gut inflammation/bloating, and an altercation that made me question the future of my streaming and tested the limits of my mental health. That said, and having been dealing with a long-term migraine, I am committed to bringing my stress levels down in the new year. I have been resting more and adapting healthier habits [I have been trying to eat better and stay extra hydrated]. I plan to continue to do so and try some other things in the new year.
